Excellent customer service. The associate who helped me went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. Extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I'll continue to do business with this Cox location.

I just had a HORRIBLE experience with the peoria location. I got hung up on 3 times by the same girl. I told her there was an extra $25 dollar charge. She continued to try to argue with me. I told her I need to look into other company. That why she hung up the first time. My Wi-Fi never works it was out all yesterday. Then they charged me extra. I just wanted to put in a dispute. However, that did not happen at this location. I will never deal with Peoria location again.

Avoid cox at all costs. If you have another internet provider in your area, use them. Their internet goes down multiple times a week and they will tell you there is no outage OR there is nothing they can do to fix it. I was finally able to switch to AT&T for 5 times faster internet for the same price and I have spent over an hour now trying to cancel with Cox and they still refuse to let me cancel, they just keep offering me "better deals" to try to keep me even though I already switched to AT&T. And you can't cancel through the store, you can only cancel through the call center and they will run you in circles refusing to do so. This company is a scam. Their internet is shit and so are their business practices. UPDATE: I have spent another 20 minutes with cox chat to cancel my services (after wasting 10 minutes reverifying me) and after waiting 20 minutes for them to type back, I finally asked them why it was taking so long to cancel and they responded offering me a deal for slower internet than what I am getting from AT&T, for more money. I told them I only wanted to cancel, AGAIN, and instead they offered the same deal for slightly cheaper. This is hell. I am in hell. UPDATE 2: It has been a couple days since I have canceled Cox, and I am still receiving harassing phone calls and emails from Cox, begging me to come back, offering me 300mbps for only $40 or $50 a month, something they were somehow unable to offer when I was a customer paying $50/mo for 100 mbps, but is also still 200 mbps slower than what I am getting from AT&T for $50/mo. Every time they call they again ask what the problem was and try to offer me a worse deal than AT&T to come back. Note: they still have not addressed the issue of the internet going out several times a week, which is the main reason we considered switching in the first place, since when they came out to check what the problem was the first time they said everything was "fine". It's like a desperate ex-boyfriend begging their girlfriend to come back after the boyfriend was the one that cheated. Try offering better customer service and faster internet that doesn't go, first, preferably for a better price, Cox.
