Long time cox internet and phone user. Had to cancel internet due to moving and cox does not provide internet in my area. I returned my equipment to this location and had internet turned off but still wanted phone service. When the shut off my internet they shut off my autopay for my phones w/o telling me. I got no notification and my phones were turned off due to no payment. I went into the store and got it turned back on and no one at the store could help remove the late fee. I then resetup auto pay.
About a month later I start getting texts and calls saying I have a payment due. I called in twice spending nearly 40min on the phone and never really get an answer more than autopay is setup and your payments are current and next payment should auto pay or you can pay it now. I leave it to auto pay. The texts keep coming. I called and asked to speak with a manager. I wait on hold for over 20min and hang up.
Now I have been sent to collections for $30.
I tried using the chat feature. They will not help and they will not have someone call me.
I’m off next Wednesday and will be transferring my services elsewhere.
They don’t care.
