  My fiber was cut while I was having new down spouts down done. Everything was marked with a call with 811. The company Thasher ended up cutting the line I call gateway and let them know what happened and they told me they would call me back but no one called me after five hours. Called them back again around 5:45 pm to get someone out here to fix it. They seem not to care since I work at home using the internet. I'm very up set that gateway fiber did not use a conduit and just burry the fiber wire. Now I'm going to be out of work for a while. Since they seem not to care about there customers and only give them a run around. Since they don't use a conduit for there fiber witch would of stop this issue. Because conduit will protect from moisture crushing and damage and using a color conduit you can see it be hitting before hitting the line witch is black and hard to see when digging.

  We've had Gateway Fiber for several years and the product has always been great. The only issue we've had is when they come to service the junction box in our front, they don't get the tip secured. When they do this, they are completely unresponsive to my requests to fix it, to make my yard and the sidewalk in front of my house safe. The most recent time was in late March. Since then I've called 5 times, filled out a request online, and replied to an email. The folks I talk to are very polite and assure me each time the issue will be resolved, but there is no follow through. We're over two months now with no resolution in sight. I wish their service was as good as their product.

  ordered 1 gig internet and the installer only gave me a 300mbps router and i was charged when i shouldve had a month free. In fact i have 2 seperate orders detailing what i should have gotten.

  While installing there fiber line they entered my yard and cut my cable line, I confronted them and they were rude and did not care just saying that it happens and left. Will definitely not be using gateway fiber.
