  I'm paying for 10000mbps but at times barely getting 8mbps. Technicians and maintenence have come out multiple times, each time making my speed worse. A week of maintenence, just to essentially not have internet.

  I've been paying $60 a month for 1000mbps, but only getting up to 30mbps. I've had technicians and maintenence come to solve the issue over the past week only to make my internet even slower, at one point dropping to 15mbps. My upload speed is double my download. If you go with them, be prepared for their maintenence to actually make things worse.

  In a word, baaaaad! Tldr; Poor customer service (long wait times) Technicians dont know what they're doing They have no problem collecting your money while their service doesn't work We were with their predecessor broadstripe for almost a decade. Rarely an issue and very reasonable prices. We'd call once a year when our deal expires. Within 10 minutes they would sign us up with a new offer and everyone was happy. Astound took over and things went downhill almost immediately. Our Internet continually went in and out. We had a technician out to check things out. They "fixed" things but it went in and out again the next day. A week later they sent out the same person. They said a team of specialists would check on the outside connections to the house within a couple of days. That never happened. I reached out to their customer service and was told it would be TWO WEEKS(!) before anyone could come out. At the time i worked from home and needed a stable connection. That day I called Verizon and they had me up and running with their service 2 days later. Astound came in and ruined the good things that broadstripe built. How they managed to do it so quickly wqs actually quite impressive.

  Chris Zimmerman was the Astound tech assigned to come to my home to fix numerous problems I was having. He was on time, knew exactly what to do and fixed issues I was unaware I had. His technical knowledge and courteous work ethic amazed me. He is a real asset to Astound. He got everything working and we hope if we have to have another tech come out, it will be him. Astound should be willing to reward him for his excellent dedication to helping your customers in such a professional way. I rate him a 10. Thanks so much Chris!
