Very disappointing experience with Astound WiFi. They advertised internet service for $20 per month, but after taxes, service fees, and surcharges, my actual monthly bill was more than $45. The advertised price was very misleading.
My billing account was set up on autopay. I cancelled my WiFi service more than a year ago and returned all of their equipment. I believed everything was completely closed and settled.
However, when I recently checked my credit report, an Astound bill appeared out of nowhere. I was shocked because I had cancelled the service over a year ago and returned everything. I ended up paying the bill today just to resolve the issue.
Customers should be very careful and check their final balance and credit report after cancelling service. I wish Astound had communicated better and properly closed my account. Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Fantastic service
Technician came in and immediately fixed the original communication problem, but also checked existing building hardware and adjusted cabling to remove other problems. I checked the communication speed and discovered a significant improvement in speed and quality
