  Would give a half to zero stars if possible. Had no Internet 3 days last week. I called to cancel and the customer service rep gave me a total attitude. Questioned everything. I told him I work remote and my job depends on internet connection, he told me I use the Internet more to stream then my work. I told him I care less about my streaming usage, I'm canceling because I can't keep telling my employer my Internet is out, and cox doesn't even let me know it will be. He told me if I checked the app it shows it. I told him they should alert customers with this by text at least. Then he tried to tell me cox is just as good as AT&T. Fought with me about both companines being down during a storm in Oklahoma. I told him after Ida only AT&T was up and running for my neighbors when the power got back on. It took well over a week for cox to get back up. I finally had to raise my voice and tell him I'm canceling and that's it. It was totally crazy and I will never come back to Cox after that encounter.

  This location is horrible. I came in because the over the phone customer service could not help and they store is telling me they don't handle billing????? I asked to speak with a manager and Desmond said that he was the manager

  I would like to recognize Derrick at Cox Communications on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie, Louisiana, for providing exceptional customer service. I had been dealing with an ongoing issue for quite some time and was honestly at the point of switching to another company. Derrick stepped in, took the time to listen, and worked diligently to help resolve the situation. Throughout the entire process, he was patient, understanding, professional, and genuinely kind. He made me feel valued as a customer and never made me feel rushed or dismissed. His willingness to go above and beyond to find a solution completely changed my experience. Employees like Derrick are the reason customers stay. Cox Communications is fortunate to have someone with his dedication, compassion, and commitment to customer satisfaction.   Horrible internet service with multiple outages every week and no refund on my bill for the downtime. A live Customer Service Representative is very difficult to reach. You are transfered to AI. Would not recommend this service.
