- STSales TeamAug 11, 20261.0Old, ugly, and outdated websites. Earlier this summer I was informed by a friend who is a web developer, that my business website was so old and outdated that the plugins would break and the website would be unusable by August. I decided to make a new website and move to a different host company. Compucast CEO Judy Weitz via email (of which I have proof) offered to point the old website to the new one. After doing so on her suggestion, she then accused me and my web developer of hacking my website (I have been an admin for 2 years. You cannot hack a website you have password access to) and got my new website taken down. She then stole my old website and gave it to the family of the former owner of my business so that she could continue to get her $90 a month. I spoke with a business attorney and he confirmed that my website was indeed stolen by Compucast, but since it was so old, ugly and outdated, I wouldn't want it back anyways and she can keep suckering the family for her $90 a month. This company is extremely unprofessional, deceptive, and vindictive. I was able to create another new website and have been getting incredible feedback with multiple people telling me its bright, fresh and so much better than the old, ugly, outdated one!
