I had to cancel a cable/Internet package and initially tried to get it done over the phone. However after a while, I decided to come into the store and the sales rep Trisha immediately handled everything and it was cancelled within minutes. She was very helpful, understanding and professional. Highly recommend this store.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Spectrum this past Sunday. I visited the store to replace my equipment and asked why my internet bill was so high. The employee told me the only way to lower it was to add a phone line, which she said would be free. She then asked for my Social Security number without explaining its purpose. I assumed it was to verify my existing account. Only afterward did she tell me she had checked my credit to determine whether I qualified for a phone. I had never expressed interest in a phone or knowingly agreed to a credit check for that purpose. Because my credit had already been checked and I was told this was the only way to reduce my internet bill, I felt pressured to accept a line I did not need or want. Then, without disclosing the fees beforehand, she presented me with a bill for almost $90. I came in asking to lower my expenses. Instead, I left facing additional charges and an unwanted service. Calling a line “free” without explaining the associated costs upfront is misleading, and asking for sensitive personal information without explaining how it will be used is unacceptable. I would like Spectrum to review this interaction, explain the credit inquiry and charges, and refund the unexpected fees. I also want help removing the unwanted service without penalties and clear information about options to lower my internet bill. I should have been given all the details before being asked to make a decision.

I went to the store to return my modem which was not working and to get a new modem. I ask the employee for a receipt to show I had returned the modem and she stated she could not give me a receipt and would not provide one. I then received a message that I had not returned my modem and would be charged $240. I am still dealing with Cox to get this issue resolved. It all could have been avoided if I would have been given a receipt when I requested it.

Not helpful. Told me to drive to a store 1.5 hours away because of a mistake on their part.
