  Look for an alternative to Cox. There are frequent outages in Warner Robins GA. Cox 24/7 customer service claims ignorance about any issue...when they answer the phone.

  I went into the store to request my "Cox Easy Connect self-installation kit" after their website's AI assistant said I was afforded one after moving here, purchasing internet service online, and opting for self-install versus their pro-install option. I was quickly tended to, the employee was super attentive and courteous, and after pulling up my information, the gentleman stated that I was not eligible for any hardware. At all. Even a basic modem. It turns out the Cox AI assistant hallucinated and stated I was eligible for something that I otherwise wasn't. The employee quickly laid out the facts, said I needed to purchase my own hardware, to include a modem and router, and sent me on my way. Every ISP I've had provided, at a minimum, a modem, free of cost, and only charged for additional hardware such as a router. This was culture shock to me, at 31 years of living, across the globe and country, and this could very easily be misconstrued as rudeness but it couldn't be further from the truth as it was objective advisement in an otherwise subjective scenario put forth by an AI chat bot on their website that is only as good as its training data and inherent biases. The folks here know what they're doing—so don't let hearing the answer you don't want to hear steer you a certain way...they're good folks! I purchased my own equipment and fired up my internet in no time!

  I have had several issues with Cox. However corporate has tried to make things better but when going to COX store on Saturday, first dealt with the store manager Whitney whom honestly didn't seem to know what he was doing. He gave me two boxes that were wrong. Boxes wouldn't connect and Cox tech support sent me back to store. I was ok with that. But then Whitney was gone and Taisha was there. It was close to closing time so I get it, but she wouldn't listen to our concerns at all and what we were trying to tell her. She kept shutting us down, she was rude and made us feel like our issues weren't her's. She didn't care and just wanted to leave. Finally got call from Cox this am who is sending us the correct cable box. This review isnt for Cox as a whole but specifically for the store itself. Update went in today and got Much better service.

  I had an awesome experience at the Cox store (Warner Robins) on Saturday (7/11/26). Tenisha assisted me and her customer service was impeccable! I went in with an issue with my modem and was issued a replacement! Additionally, Tenisha scheduled an appointment on my behalf to have a technician visit my home to ensure that everything was working properly! Tenisha also informed me about the mobile services that Cox now provides! I would highly recommend this Cox location!

  Cox Internet is one of the most frustrating companies I've ever dealt with. They make it incredibly difficult to cancel your service. I've been trying to cancel for weeks, but their chat support refuses to actually process the cancellation, and they just keep billing me month after month for a service I'm not even using. It feels like they intentionally trap customers into paying by making the cancellation process as difficult as possible. I've wasted hours trying to get this resolved, and nothing changes except another charge on my bill. If you're thinking about signing up with Cox, be aware that getting out may be much harder than getting in. Charging customers for weeks after they've repeatedly tried to cancel is unacceptable. I can't recommend this company based on my experience.
