I called and got a sales representative from Spectrum. He offered a deeply discounted fiber internet service on the condition that I port my four cell phone lines over to Spectrum. I was instructed that an on-site survey crew would arrive at my property on October 11 at 1:00 PM. When no one arrived, I called Spectrum customer service and was told fiber internet service isn't even physically available at my location. The phone the initial representative claimed had been shipped never arrived. Dishonorable sales practices

Selling fake 'Fiber' Speeds for 40% more than real fiber cost of other towns, that aren't true fiber in-house and never delivering even half the advertised 1Gbps... just going to put this here. Its Spectrum now, doesn't matter the name it needs to be fixed. https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/articles/115002206106-Internet-Form-Descriptions-of-Complaint-Issues Also, regardless of the speed tests.. its a bandwidth issue. My cell phone hotspot with lower speeds can handle 1 TV streaming a show where Cox/Spectrum 1Gbps cannot after 10pm. The hour+ calls to outsourced people, definitely not in this town, who can do nothing but reboot your router are so useful.
