- NBNatalie BanningAug 21, 20261.0I’m paying $170/mo for “gig” internet service which is so unreliable and slow, I use my phones mobile hot spot more than anything. There’s a problem at the line in the street and it’s literally taken years to get someone from Astound to come fix it. They came, dug holes and left them open in my yard, then never came back to finish the work. Getting back in touch with anyone at astound that’s competent enough to send the correct crew back out to finish the work is impossible. there are two repair crews types: interior tech, and exterior text. Astound continues to send out interior text and waste my time with huge appointment windows only to discover that they sent the wrong crew out to finish the work at the street. Worst customer service for the price that I’m paying. Switching to Starlink.
