We have been Cox customers for nearly 7 years, and unfortunately this location gave us the worst experience we’ve had with any ISP. Multiple times, employees promised promotional pricing would stay fixed for 2 years, but the bill or service details changed within less than a year. Two years ago, we brought in a Google Fiber offer, and a sales representative promised us 1 Gig internet for around $64/month with a stable 2-year price. On the very first bill, the amount was almost double because unlimited data was not included. After we complained, they added unlimited data but refused to refund the extra charges. Later, Cox quietly increased the monthly bill from the $60 range to over $100 after about 12 months. Recently, this store pressured us into adding Cox Mobile to get “the best pricing.” While still in the store, I discovered they had downgraded our internet from 1 Gig to 500 Mbps. The employee incorrectly claimed we only had 100 Mbps before, even after I showed old bills proving we had Gigablast service. The manager’s response was even worse. He basically said my only choices were: Pay $70+ for 500 Mbps plus a mobile line Or pay over $100 for only 300 Mbps After years as loyal customers, this felt misleading and disrespectful. I eventually went to another nearby Cox store, and they immediately fixed the issue with much better pricing. Please double-check everything in writing before leaving this location, especially pricing duration, internet speeds, data caps, and bundle terms.

I would recommend being cautious when visiting this location. In my experience, the customer service was very poor, especially during my interaction with Assistant Manager JT Hernandez. I saw a promotional rate advertised online by Cox, but when I visited the store, I was told I did not qualify for the offer and was quoted a much higher price. The explanation provided was unclear and frustrating, and the in-store pricing did not appear to match the advertised offer. Based on my experience, I plan to report this matter to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) so the advertising and pricing practices can be reviewed. Consumers should carefully review all terms and pricing before agreeing to any service.

More expensive than Google Fiber and slower. Customer service in the past cannot be politely described. However, When terminating our account of 30+ years, Austin was pleasant and efficient - the other workers literally all had their feet up, engaged in their own conversations while Austin came to our aid. Post "equipment" return, we received another request to return equipment. Why is there no lower score than one star?

Went to return small modem and was told we needed to return 2 wireless units, which we didn't have. Several back and forth with agent who eventually went to the manager who quickly fixed it.

Very disappointed with the customer service. Cox as well established in the area. the previous tenants had Cox. I signed up for the lowest plan online, and they sent the modem to my new place. For something that should be very simple, it led to hours of wasted time. First, after chatbots and online assistant chats, I was told the modem had not been registered before they sent it to me and I would have to go to the store. They would not tell me any workaround or what went wrong on their end. The next day I have to borrow a car drive to the store and tell them I received a non-registered modem. Instead of apologizing and feeling bad for the mix-up they act like it should have been obvious and they try to sell me on paying for a higher plan. That their newer generation modem would work better. I couldn't believe it. I told them, I'm just trying to regain confidence in them, I'm not going to give them more money for making mistakes. Give me another old generation unit, and doesn't offer any compensation for my troubles. I asked, how am I to know this will work? He says there's no way to tell and start explaining how to plug a coax cable into the back of it. Even the manager had nothing constructive to say. I asked for more instructions for how to troubleshoot but all they could tell me was how to plug a coax cable in. It gets better.. I hook up the new one and now the light become solid which is a good sign but my phone will not connect. I called the store but, as always, it says "20 minute" wait, and then hangs up after 20 min. I did that twice. I was using both apps, cox and cox pano wifi, neither had any troubleshooting other than power cycling and resetting. Gemini was so much more helpful than cox! After "forgetting" the connection, it worked. But then it wouldn't allow me to change the Wi-Fi password on the app. No info about why not. Turns out you have to do that on the web instead. Plan on defective modems and use Gemini. Never go to this store. They're insensitive and only want more money. 2 stars because the store was clean and they were dressed nice. on hold it just hangs up
