Just for your info if you go to return your equipment, you sign in at the front door and then after you’ve been here for 30 minutes, somebody will come up and tell you that it’s another hour before they can take your equipment back and to go to a FedEx store instead. So glad I left this company. I got Internet now through Starlink much cheaper better customer service.

We have had the absolute most horrific experience with spectrum tech support that involves anything to do with tech support in our life!!! Tech support tells us to go into the store, the store rep tells us to call tech support. This has to be the final boss of the shittiest customer service we have ever experienced in the history of customer service. We are going in tomorrow for the 4th time to get our issued resolved. We will share the details here...

If it was possible to get another internet company for internet in the area, I'd jump ship faster than you can blink. And I'm sure many, if not most of us feel this way. And now that they're "spectrum" or whatever, it seems even worse somehow. I guess this is corporate America at its finest. Just another company built to waste the consumer's time and drain their money.

I personally dealt with Carlos and the store manager when I came in. I came in to get my WiFi fixed that I was forced into with my apartment lease. He said he fixed it and the issue was that my device wasn’t activated, which was not the case, someone still had to come out and fix it the next day. The WiFi itself I’ve had no issues not that it is fixed, but here’s my HUGE problem. He stated that I get a free year of phone service with my WiFi, I declined because I owe money on my devices with Verizon (which thank god I can afford to pay), but I didn’t want to pay in full right now because I just moved and have other things to take care of. He said Verizon and Cox are connected (they are not) and to just give him my phone and it wouldn’t affect anything with Verizon, I would just get free service for the year. I now owe Verizon over $1,200.00. I immediately went to Verizon and tried to get them to take my back, because I didn’t even intend the switch (as he said the companies were connected). I can’t switch back for 30 days and they said I would be billed for my devices. I immediately went back to the Cox to get this issue fixed, where he told me they were lying to me and I would not be billed and to “just wait and see”. Now I owe over a grand for a switch I didn’t even want to make.
