  If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. I purchased a phone IN FULL, yet the device is apparently coded in their system as though I brought in my own phone and simply activated service. If I paid Cox directly for the phone, where did that money go, and why isn’t the phone showing as purchased and paid in full? At this point, I have serious concerns about how this transaction was handled and whether I was charged for a device that was never properly recorded in their system. I have visited this store multiple times and contacted customer service repeatedly trying to get this corrected. It has now been well over TWO WEEKS with absolutely no resolution. Every time, I am told someone will call me back—and those calls NEVER come. I have spent my own time going back and forth between the store and customer service over an issue that should be very simple to verify: I PAID FOR THE PHONE. The lack of accountability, follow-through, and basic customer service has been unbelievable. Being passed from person to person while no one takes ownership of the problem is completely unacceptable. I am still waiting for someone to explain why a phone I purchased and paid for in full is not properly reflected in their system and what happened to the money I paid for it. If you're considering purchasing a phone or switching service here, I strongly recommend checking your receipt, account, and device status carefully before leaving the store.

  So far I feel like I'm dealing with con men. The guy I talked to over the phone said if I set up auto pay then I will get $10 off a month, but when I got to the cox store the rep said that's not true. The guy at the store said just plug the gateway device into a cable outlet and a power outlet then it should initialize and start working. But not so. So I'm continuing to analyze the situation. The guy at the store did say that my address shouldn't need a tech to come out and setup the cable connection, it should still be connected.

  I had an excellent experience with Jan! He provided outstanding customer service, was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail. Thank you again, Jan!

  They explained things to me very confusing and i was very uncertain of what I was sold. I'm still not sure if I was over charged for what I need. Still gotta figure that out. I just don't feel like I was handled well. Only up sold and that is a scummy feeling

  Frequently scammed and mislead by COX. Their most recent scam/misleading tactic was to get me to sign up for 40$ per month, as stated over the phone and in an email. The very next month they attempted to charge me 100$ per month. After spending over an hour over the online chat I was told they can't help me and to come in person. When I came in person and even showed them the email they said there was nothing they could do for me except to cancel service or reduce to the 70$ per month plan. Been with COX only a year and this is the 3rd or 4th time I'm dealing with them over a price dispute. Buyer beware.
