  This company is garbage. Every person I dealt with face to face was rude. Every person I dealt with via chat was incompetent. Could never get the wifi working and no one in customer support could get the modem to show it was sending a signal. After multiple online chats(with actual people, not bots) I could only unplug and wait 15 seconds so many times before giving up and canceling the service. I'm now being billed for 5 days of service I never received nor did Cox provide any service to me, yet they want to charge me for them not being able to fulfill their end of the transaction.

  Had trouble with a new phone that was being added not having the sim card shipped with the phone so was directed to go into a store. Eduardo immediately greeted me and helped me get set up with one. While he was doing so he noticed that they had put me on a phone plan that would charge data after a set amount. After asking a couple of questions on the use for the phone he offered to switch me to a new plan that would not have additional data fees and would cost a little less. He later found a discount on our bundle that was not offered to me by the retention dept over the phone that significantly lowered our bill for a year. Very happy with the customer service and Eduardo's attention to detail that caught areas where my bill could be lowered and the plan be more effective. This has been the happiest I have been with cox since I signed up with them over 20 years ago. Ty Eduardo!

  Carlos is literally the best. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Give him a raise honestly cause dealing with him compared to customer support is night and day !

  Cox Internet is a scam. Started my bill at $60 a month and increased it to $90 without any notification for 400gb of data (50% increase). You look at all other providers in the area and they are cheaper for faster speeds. Additionally even on COX website has cheaper rates but they told me to bad your stuck with your bill. When I called they told me I have a great deal and should be charged $165 a month for 400gb data/internet. No one charges that. Unfortunately they are the only Internet provider and monopoly at my house unless I want starlink. While the speeds are not as good highly thinking of switching just because of principal and the shady business practices of COX taking advantage of their customers and telling them to kick rocks. Update: Emailed and get exact same answer of nothing we can do, you are getting a great deal after we raised our rate by 50%. Absolutely worthless waste of time. Customer service is zero. As soon as I can get better Internet I will be leaving cox
