    Cox is straight up scamming me. I get 3TB of internet for $55 a month. It’s been one week so far and they’re trying to tell me that I’ve used up almost the entire 3TB already. THATS STRAIGHT UP IMPOSSIBLE. Now they want me to pay double for the unlimited data plan (of course). I browse online daily, watch roughly one Netflix movie each night and do a little online gaming too. There’s no way that equals almost 3TB’s in ONE WEEK.

    Glad to dump them. Sketchy service quality aside, the customer service at Cox is the worst. After a move I spent over an hour on support with a person who insisted I required equipment that I didn't and would consistently use Cox specific technical jargon that I had to clarify what he was talking about, multiple times. When I returned the router to the store they didn't give me a receipt, said it was checked in and "Im Good". I indeed was not good as the following day I got an email detailing the charges that I would be receiving if I didnt return it. (ALWAYS GET A RECIEPT). I spent more time chasing down the router I returned with this store and was met with "we dont have it, if you gave it to us it got sent away". It took longer to get a manager to fix the situation. We switched companies due to the Cox Games and it took me 20 minutes and 7 direct requests to cancel my service as the Cox person continued to offer me better service than their competitors (they can't) and attempt to gaslight me when I disagreed and continued to request cancelation. I brought the equipment back to the store to get a receipt and found the store was full. I told the "check in" guy what I needed and showed it to him and he put my name on the list. I found that they had no restrooms for waiting customers and 20 minutes later my name was called. When I repeated my need to return the equipment and get a receipt I was told I didn't need to return the equipment. I don't understand why the person who greeted me didn't tell me that when I walked in. Save yourself time, money and frustration. Go with someone else.

    Had to close out an account and drop off equipment. First I had called customer service on the telephone but they told me I needed to bring in my equipment to close out my account. You can close your account with customer service and then bring back your equipment to a store, so phone customer service is terrible. The store is so helpful. Unfortunately I didn't catch the lady's name that helped me. She was so nice. In and out in a breeze!

    Zachary helped me and my partner with an issue we have been trying to resolve online and over the phone for WEEKS. He helped resolve the issue within a quick and easy visit to the store. Never trying to resolve my issues over the phone ever again! 🤩
