    It took 45 minutes to cancel my Cox internet because they tried for 30 minutes to convince me to stay, offering me everything under the sun. So I canceled. Then, for two weeks after, they called me, begging me to come back, offering even more stuff. When I said, "Hey, why don't you give me a discount for my other bill for my other house?" they replied, "We'll see what we can do." Only after dangling the carrot of me coming back did they give me the discount. But the sad thing is, since then, my internet has been going in and out; it's worse than it has ever been.

    Had some problems with my billing so I had to go in-person. Tried to call, but the over the phone customer service was difficult to understand, so I went to the store. Adonis was awesome! He helped figure out my problem in no time and even changed the billing so it wouldn't happen again. He also set me up on the app to make it easier in the future. Sometimes, talking to someone in person is the best! Good hire, cox. This employee is excellent. I'll definitely go in again if I need help. Note: always take cash if making a payment, just in case.

    Tried to cancel over phone. My call was directed to Coxs call center in India. The rep literally hung up on me the moment I said I needed to cancel. I kept calling back and finally talked to someone in US. This person made me talk to them and explain repeatedly why I wanted to cancel. They said I just had to drop equipment off at this local store to finalize the cancellation. I went into this store and they made me get a number and wait in line just to hand them equipment. I waited and waited and waited about 30 minutes just to hand them their terrible, antiquated, buggy equipment that will just get thrown in the trash. The reps were all busy trying to sell mobile phones while I sat and waited. You can’t trust a company that repeatedly raises rates, changes contract terms without warning and caps data on the unlimited plan. But when they make it nearly impossible to cancel and coerce you into staying via deception, hurdles, delays and obfuscation , then you know they are rotten to the core.

    Stay away from this company! The contract you have to sign auto renews and they require 30 notice to cancel.. makes it nearly impossible to cancel without getting slammed with a huge early fee!! I have used their services for 4 years and they wont let me out.
