    Update #2: Three hours after technician left, internet continues to do the same thing. Out for 8 minutes. No wifi. Update: A service technician came out and couldn't complete the equipment setup because he needed more outlets. I bought a 6 outlet surge protector and Patrick came out to change equipment. He explained what may be going on. Keeping our fingers crossed. Still charged the $82.90. Paid under protest. I live in an apartment where our only option is ASTOUND. ASTOUND goes out almost every day. The technicians can see it and confirmed it. I've been charged $82.90 for the technician to come out because ASTOUND's product doesn't work. I called to find out why I'm being charged when their internet/wifi goes down and a technician comes out. I was informed they will wave (wrong word, as wave means to remove a legitimate charge) if I PURCHASE their monthly "service protection plan" for $5/ month. Why would I purchase something to ensure YOUR PRODUCT WORKS as INTENDED?! I also contacted the majority of the tennants in my building and they experience the same thing, stating, "It's much worse lately." AND, "We won't call because they'll charge us." I'm contacting the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), I'm pretty sure a business can't charge for something a customer isn't getting. I'm also contacting my landlord, who is also the building owner, and requesting he go with a different company. Cheating anyone for ANY reason, is a lack of integrity and underscores the dishonesty of a company. Fix YOUR problem. It isn't your customer's problem.

    Ryan was super knowledgeable, extremely helpful and friendly. I really appreciate his attention to detail and his desire to make sure everything was working well for us before he left.

    I’ve had them for 5 months and ever since month 2 I have had to call cause they keep trying to charge me over 100$ a month and it was supposed to be 30$ a month I regret getting it it never fails they say I owe them 200$ rn which is crazy I won’t pay that for internet

    My Eero equipment went out due to an electrical storm in the area. I called Astound and they were quick to schedule me an appointment to replace my equipment. Our technician was very kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful! Thank you for great customer service all around!

    Their promotions are a total scam. I signed up for their 1.5G plan that had a promotional $200 Amazon gift card that they’d send after 90 days of service. After not hearing anything from them for 8 months, I decided to reach out only to be told that the Amazon code that was emailed to me expired 60 days after it was supposedly sent to my email. I stay on top of my emails daily and even went back to when they “sent” the email, and there’s no record of it. You’re better off using Spectrum or AT&T. I’ve always recommended Astound to my clients looking for ISP services, but once my contract is over with them, I’ll be switching.
