- JVJohnny VannierMar 4, 20261.0Had to switch. Do not use astound. Service connection issues constantly. Speeds are less than what you paid. They will rip you off. After switching, service is faster (so much faster) more reliable and lower price.

Unfortunately until recently there were no viable alternatives so I just had to deal with it. Outages are pretty consistent and I havent gotten the speeds I am paying for despite getting techs out here multiple times to check what the problem is. Today though was the final straw, I had scheduled a tech to come out between 1-5 and took the afternoon off (unpaid btw) only to have that tech cancel the appointment due to an outage that didnt occur until 5:30pm. Funny thing is, I wasnt informed of the appointment being cancelled until I called to report the outage when it went out at 5:30. So, if the tech was supposed to come by between 1-5 but canceled du to an outage that didnt occur until 5:30, 30 minutes AFTER the time he was supposed to be at my house, why was I never informed? Make it make sense. Missed a half days work for this and thats money put of my pocket that I really need to make ends meet. Sick of this company’s bullshit and am cancelling my service with them. Im going to be giving AT&T and Sparklight a chance. There is no way they are worse than these guys.
