    Because of ongoing equipment issues, I came to know and appreciate Martha Rodriguez some years ago as someone who is relentless in making sure the problem is getting solved and facilitating the process. I had occasion to see her recently because I needed to pay my bill in person, we both immediately recognized each other. Before processing my payment, Martha looked over my bill and suggested things that could be done to lower it. I had called customer service periodically about the rising cost, would get a $20 reduction here, a small loyalty discount there, but nothing like Martha was looking to do for me. Short version, I was operating with old equipment (cable connected, cable/modem router, TIVO box) delivering internet and television that should have been replaced with a wireless system but no one told me that. But, Martha did. And it would mean a considerable reduction in my monthly bill. There were some scheduling bumps along the way but Martha was relentless in her determination to get me taken care of and ensure a smooth transition. She doesn’t just submit a work order, she stays on top of it, follows up, and ensures the customer is satisfied and happy with the outcome. Mission accomplished and more. The relief I felt when it was done, everything up and running, is beyond description, I can’t even express the depth of my appreciation for both Martha and the technician, Jeff Ranspot. Jeff courteously and respectfully addressed my questions and concerns during the installation. He facilitated “naming” of the new network to mirror the old one minimizing confusion on devices and me having to remember the new name. And, Jeff graciously responded to several “operational” questions I texted him shortly after he had gone on to the next customer. To say that Martha Rodriguez and Jeff Ranspot went above and beyond would be an understatement. It is service like theirs that fosters customer loyalty.

    ** Edit to my previous review: Thank you to the management team for fixing our issue and giving us some faith in their system. We appreciate your help and support! *** Scammers!! *** We wish we could do 0 stars! Signing up was a breeze but don’t believe them when they have their “promotional rewards” like an “Amazon Gift card”. We signed up and had installation of services on September 3rd, 2025. I requested our reward after the 90 days or 3 billing cycles of on time payments (which we did!) like we were told and got told we had to wait another 30 days to receive our email where there would be an offer code and a link to access our Amazon online. We received the email after 30 days and 3 weeks of asking for the email. We were told “check your spam” maybe it was there. Nope we always check our spam folder. Nothing. Finally we received the email. We click the link and put in the offer code with our account number. “Incorrect” we try again. “Incorrect”. This is where we call again and they send a new email right away with a different offer code. We try again the next day and still told “incorrect” online. They say the account number and offer code don’t go together. We feel they scammed us out of our $200 Amazon giftcard when we specifically signed up with this plan since there was a “promotional reward”. It’s all a ploy to get you to sign up. It’s now March 24, 2026 and still no “$200 Amazon Giftcard”

    We had an issue with our internet and Gilbert came to help us out. He showed up right on time and had everything going in about 5 mins. Ended up being an issue with one of the cables unplugged outside. We’ve never had issues with our internet before and technically this issue was nothing to do with Astound. Great service, great company, great support.

His knowledge and professionalism really stood out, and he took the time to explain information in a clear and useful way. It’s rare to come across someone so patient, thorough, and genuinely committed to helping. Because of him, the whole experience was smooth and stress-free.     I tried to order internet service through them. They didn't even bother to process my order. Never bothered to show up, call, or even send an email to keep me up to date. But I got a confirmation email. That's it. No account number, nothing. What is the point in making time to be home so they can hook everything up if they're going to waste my time? Ain't even got service and their customer service sucks.
