- JJJamesDec 6, 20251.0Not about this specific location, but Nextlink as a whole. They offered me a set speed. Told me I needed to buy a new router to support that speed. I spent over $200 on this router, then they get here to set it up, and said they can't actually provide that speed, but said they can give me 1/5 the advertised speed. So I'm stuck without their service, a router I didn't need, and I'm out over $200 and wasted time waiting on them.

Going to try the extender again but hoping I get someone who really knows their stuff and isn't just reading some flow chart.
