This company hires contractors to trespass and install secondary fiber service lines on private property. Been on hold three different times with only one response, and all that person did was defer me to the contractor who damaged my property and illegally installed the service. Let’s see if I can get someone to contact me when I remove the box from my property.

Service has gone down since I upgrade to Fiber-optic. My download speeds rarely reach 60 MBPS and my upload speeds are actually higher. This morning was horrible, I could not connect to most sites and I even tried a speed test and it came back "could not reach network". Talk about horrible service. I called today to find out what is going on and my rep did NOT even sound enthusiastic and was not helpful at all. His suggestion was to restart my modem. I'm not even at home right now, and I told him that at the beginning of the call, talk about not listening. oh and he sounded like an AI, I've used those before and that's what they sound like. I feel real customer service is a thing of the past.
Currently I am at work and just ran a speed test on this network and it goes over 500 mbps, so I know the systems can do it. Maybe just not BRC, or maybe they've sold me something they cannot deliver.
I will go home and reset my system, though I have done that before with no noticeable results.

We’ve been customers of blue ridge for over 8 years, we’re enrolled in autopay and we pay our bill on time every single month. Never had any issues. Out of the blue, yesterday (a Sunday) a spam number calls me and I don’t answer. Today on Monday, I see a voicemail, it was actually blue ridge calling me to tell me they switch to fiber optic cables and in less than 12 hours (on a weekend) I was going to lose my internet access if I didn’t switch. They cut off my internet with less than 24 hours notice, we can’t work from home, kids can’t do their homework, and we no longer have a working security or fire alarm system as everything was connected to WIFI. We sat on hold with blue ridge for over two hours today with no answer. I called windstream, they’re $20 cheaper per month plus they’re giving away a $100 cash gift card for switching. I highly recommend switching from blue ridge because of their awful business practices to once very loyal customers.
