  I set up my internet with Astound over the phone. The sales rep quoted me $50/month for 1-gig internet. I just had my first auto-pay come out and was charged $60 for it. I called the customer service line and he said that the first three months are $60 then it gets reduced to $50 after that if there are no late payments. I told him the sales rep never told me that, and I'd like them to honor what they quoted me. He said he's not able to do that, so I asked if he had a supervisor I could speak with who might have the ability to help with it. He agreed, and transferred me to her. She was frankly pretty rude and unwilling to help. In addition to her not being willing to honor what I was quoted, I told her that in fact the website now shows my current plan at $40/month, so even less than the $50 I was quoted only one month ago. So, I asked to be switched to that $40/month plan, and she said I'm not allowed to switch to that plan. She was not located near Portland, so I asked her if there is a brick-and-mortar location in the Portland area that I could go to, and Woodburn seems to be the closest. I asked for the direct phone number to that office and she would not provide it to me. I told her it's nearly an hour drive for me to get there, so it's horribly inconvenient and I'd like to call them directly, but she insisted she wouldn't give me the phone number. ---- UPDATE AS OF MARCH 5th --- After some initial emails back and forth with Astound, they have now stopped responding. I sent them emails on 2/23, 2/26, 3/2, and now another on 3/5, and have received no replies.

  Wifi itself is meh, but somehow we get hit with some absurd hidden fees outta the left and they're unable to explain when called. Made same day payment personally online and then their system charges it and rejects it and calls it declined. Then I'm hit with another fee. Highly recommend getting a different provider that isn't money hungry like Astound.

  Terrible service had for 2months and it was constantly having issues and when I called into customer service they were absolutely no help when asked for help they were disrespectful if I could leave less than 1 star I would

  Tried there service in the 2 months I had it was never stable and when I called to get it fix was told multiple times that they can't fix it and it's an answer I need to ask my self when I asked for my bill to be adjusted accordingly there was no help from anyone at any point do not go with this internet service if I could do less then 1 star I would
