Cox consistently lies to their customers. Breaks things around their homes. Refuses to fix or step in and resolve issues their contractors create. Awful service and three times more than competitors. Don’t use them.

I hate this company. We have been stuck with them for years because we didn't have any other options for internet in our neighborhood. We pay for the 2nd tier of "gigabit" internet - over $200 a month. My current download speed is less than 150mbps. I just ordered TMobile Fiber and I hope there is a class action lawsuit for fraud against this company at some point. I have NEVER gotten the service I pay for as they advertise it. Don't walk but RUN from this company.

Maria has been the best cox worker I’ve ever had. After having a horrible experience at another location today she was then able to help me out. As I told to Peoria location after my experience I was gonna leave and go somewhere else. Thank to her I am going to stay on with cox. She should definitely be everyone’s role model for company behavior.

I tried to cancel my service... What a hassle...7 phone calls to cancel. All together over an hour and a half on the phone... I will not use them again

I want to call out Cox for this. They told me that this month I went over my data limit, so I would be charged $187, and I agreed to pay it. Then I upgraded to a higher plan so I wouldn’t be charged extra again — they said my monthly bill would be $145 for unlimited data. I clearly asked them if there would be any additional fees, and they confirmed there wouldn’t be. I even took screenshots of our online chat as proof. But when I received my bill, it wasn’t $145 — it was $181. This time, I went directly to their office to talk to them, and they said: “Sorry, they didn’t tell you the truth.” This picture Feb 15 at 10:45 am That is misleading customers and honestly one of the worst ways to do business.
