- ADAdam DrydenFeb 5, 20263.0Vic was very helpful and deserves a raise, but I also have a pain point that could really drive efficiency at Cox stores and would make Vic's life and mine much easier: ID scanners in store or optimize the ID verification in the app so that it actually works because even though Vic got further than I did when it came to getting the picture of my ID just right, we still couldn't get the barcode on the back to register. Overall though, Vic solved my problem quickly and made me happy to keep paying my bill.

Always the same old story that it will be back up. Out dated equipment but never notify him of this. Never credited his account for the outage. Bad customer service every time we called them. Now to the BIG problem. I called to cancel his service and they dragged it on saying they need a death certificate for proof. What cable service need a death certificate to cancel service. After 10 weeks of going back and forth they finally closed his account and wanted the equipment returned to the nearest COX store. So now I go to turn in the equipment and they say that I am not on his account so I am not able to get a receipt for the turn in. WTH..... Fine. I took a picture of the guy working the turn in, with the equipment in his hands and a name tag and COX shirt. I told him I have my proof and that this is completed. I then tell him, that COX sent a bill for the last two months during the request to cancel service. I let them know, Good luck trying to get money for that since you can't get money from a dead man. This is so uncalled for. CANCEL THE SERVICE!!!! COX SHOULD NOT GIVE FAMILY OF A DESEACED CUSTOMER THIS MUCH GREEF!! 😡😡😡 DO NOT USE COX CUMMICATIONS CABLE AND INTERNET!! OEC HAS THEM BEAT ON PRICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE 200%!!
