- DRDrew Reiner5 days ago1.0I have been a loyal Cox customer for many years. A months ago I lost and replaced the credit card that I used to auto pay Cox. I did not know that this card was attached to the auto payment and unexpectedly received a $25 returned payment fee. I asked if they would waive the fee prior to me giving them my new credit card number, and they would not waive the $25 fee. I am now with AT&T, and hopefully their customer service is a little more forgiving. Not to mention, I had a good deal with Cox at $60 a month for Internet and now it’s only $35 with AT&T. I went from 500 MB to 1000 MB and cable to fiber. Rather than complaining, I should be thanking them for charging me the $25 fee for the long-term savings I’ll be getting.

I payed extra to have a strong signal because everything was slow.. didn’t help. They also charge you a huge bill with only one small warning fine print of retuning your wifi box! What a nice way to say goodbye to a customer. I switched to Att fiber I’m paying less. And it’s so fast !

To get slower internet, the price goes up. If you have other service provider options, go with them. Anyone but COX. Absolutely anyone else
