    This was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I went into this Cox store for basic help setting up WiFi after ordering online. The employee was friendly at first, but the moment I declined additional products, his entire attitude changed. He became cold, dismissive, and refused to help me with the setup he had just agreed to walk me through. Instead, he dropped the modem box into my lap, rushed me out of the store, and then pointed at me and talked about me to a coworker as I was leaving. As a young woman, this felt targeted and extremely uncomfortable. The way his behavior flipped the second I said “no” to upselling was not just rude—it was disrespectful and inappropriate. It didn’t stop there. I received equipment I explicitly confirmed would NOT be shipped to me. Then I was told I had until 4/29 to return it—but I was charged $240 on 4/27 BEFORE the deadline even passed. I have documentation proving both the deadline and the early charge, so this is not a misunderstanding—it’s a clear billing failure. Between the disrespectful treatment in-store and being charged incorrectly for equipment I never asked for, this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I strongly recommend double-checking everything and being cautious if you deal with this location.
