I canceled their display ad service immediately after finally receiving their performance report—which took two full weeks. The report showed zero return on investment, so I ended the service right away.
Now they’ve sent a claim to collections for over $1,600, which isn’t even possible since the service was only $150 per month. This is completely unethical.
This company is a SCAM. Do NOT sign up with them.

I strongly advise anyone considering Town Square Interactive to look elsewhere. My experience with them was nothing but frustration and unnecessary stress. They created online directory listings for my business on platforms like Yelp and MapQuest, and due to their negligence, my personal home address was leaked publicly. This caused major safety and privacy issues — including random people showing up at my house with trailers, believing I was a junkyard because of the incorrect listings.
Their SEO work was just as careless. They couldn’t even handle basic keyword formatting. Instead of “junk yard,” they listed it as a single word, which led to constant calls from people looking for car parts — completely unrelated to my business and entirely caused by their mistakes.
I contacted them immediately to get these issues corrected. They told me they would take care of it and that updates might take some time. I later cancelled my services, assuming the corrections were underway. A month later, I checked back and discovered nothing had been fixed. When I called again, their attitude made it very clear that since I was no longer a current client, fixing the errors they created was no longer their concern. They didn’t say the words outright, but the message was obvious.
Their lack of accountability, attention to detail, and basic professionalism was alarming. I paid for a service that not only failed to help my business, but actively created problems for me and my family. If you value accuracy, reliability, and actual customer support, avoid Town Square Interactive.

I was referred to Townsquare Interactive by someone in the industry who said they could help with SEO, but my only goal was to get support with my suspended Google Business Profile. From the start they promised the world, saying there was “nothing they couldn’t do” when it came to Google. Instead, it turned into nothing but upsells and zero results.
Even though I declined their website service, they insisted it was included. Days later, the only calls I received were sales pitches to get me to sign up for their CRM—not help with my Google issue. Internal emails they accidentally CC’d me on confirmed that their main objective was to sell me the CRM, not fix my profile.
Despite paying nearly $600/month, weeks would go by with no updates unless I called them. When they finally submitted appeals, they repeatedly made mistakes—including misspelling my name—even though I provided my driver’s license, contractor’s license, bank statements, insurance, and everything requested. Every appeal was denied, and after three months nothing had improved.
When I asked if they could extend the service or offer a discount to try to resolve the issue, they refused and said they “couldn’t help” because I was using the website they forced on me in the beginning. The worst part: they are still holding my domain hostage and I’m still waiting for the promised call to transfer it back to my Wix account.
In my experience, Townsquare Interactive overpromises, underdelivers, rarely follows up, and seems more focused on upselling than actually helping. I wasted time, money, and months of stress. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I’ve been working with them for about 2 months. I hired them to boost my google rankings via SEO. Several weeks ago I googled my business and nothing, I couldn’t find my google landing page so I figured maybe it was because they were working on it. I gave it a few weeks and googled my business again and nothing, so I called them and the agent started researching it and then she proceeds to tell me that google suspended my page because they added new areas, the areas she listed were not areas I even asked them to add, areas I don’t go to. As a matter of fact, I don’t even know where they are so now i have to spend a bunch of time jumping through hoops to file a dispute and HOPEFULLY get my google landing page back. The thing that bothers me, the most is that I’m the one that had to call them to find out what was wrong with my page. The page that they were supposed to be doing SEO work on, so that tells me they were obviously not doing a single thing with it because it didn’t even exist for several weeks at minimum. I have owned other businesses that had SEO work done and they never got my page suspended so that raises a huge red flag for me as well. I plan to cancel my service first thing Monday morning. What a mistake this was. I should have done more research. All that I got out this relationship was a huge problem that set my business back dramatically, a problem that I am now left to deal with, and it cost me $700 for the pain and suffering, oh and I have to higher a company to hopefully get my Google page back. Just throw your money out the window or burn it and save yourself a whole lot of heartache, trouble and suffering. This company will take your page the exact opposite direction that they claim they will take it.
