  Dave was very pleasant. He took his time and answered my questions. Cleaned up after himself and helped me through the process. He explained the phone add on features for me to think about. And assured me that if I needed help setting it up once I decided then a technician can come and help. Super helpful, super nice guy.

  Absolutely an irresponsible company. I thought the installation went fine till they showed up to put their cable underground. I had told the initial installer that I had an invisible dog fence. Well the people that gateway hired to take care of the cable “didn’t care” I’m not joking that’s a quote. I guess they didn’t realize my cameras recorded sound as one of the 3 employees here to finish the job declared I don’t care if they have a dog fence. Another after they cut my fence put his ear up to the wall where the wire came out of the house for the fence and walked away saying that they cut it he can hear it beeping. They didn’t leave a note telling me that they cut the cable, they didn’t make a damage report with their company as best I can tell. I called gateway after spending hours tracking my dogs (thankfully they have AirTags) I got home and found out what happened. I called gateway immediately that evening I was told I’d get a call back at 8:00 when the office opened. I did not I waited till 10:30 and called back to find out that they hadn’t even started working on the problem. I was told by the supervisor that it was now escalated and it would be handled now because they take escalated complaints very seriously. I was shocked they didn’t take normal complaints seriously. They expected me to let that same company who wanted to send the same crew back to repair the problem. These people released my dogs once into the woods, middle of winter, and coyote mating season and I’m supposed to let them come back and give them a second chance. Gateway needs to pay for the company who installed my fence to repair it and as soon as att can come out and set up new service I’ll be canceling. I notice they replied saying they are working diligently to rectify this. Interesting because since I made a simple request for repair they have not contacted me. I still have the same phone number same address, if they wanted to resolve it they would reach out offer a solution. They aren’t working to rectify it they just want me to go away. Hopefully without them having to fix the issue they created.

  Quick install, good price, speeds are as advertised! So much better than xfinity. The one minor downside is that if you use the router that comes with it the advanced settings are awkward in that they are managed via a phone app which just feels weird vs a standard webpage.
