    We've had gateway fiber for about 2 years. I can't say I've had a good experience considering the fact that when they installed their lines in the ground, they dug up my yard and I had to call them over and over for almost 3 months to get them to come back out and fix my yard and when they did it still looked like crap. The internet itself is just as good as anybody else. There's nothing special like they claim. The problem with this company is the customer service and thats the main reason I'm leaving them today. I got behind on my bill (15 days) sure, it's my own fault and yes i'm supposed to keep up on my bills yada yada. I had just overlooked the bill by mistake and they shut me off. So my call on wednesday and tell them my plan to cover the account on Friday to see if they would turn it back on for me and they said they would Not turn it back on until I made the payment in full (the payment of exactly one month + late charge) this shows me. These people are not about building a business and making relationships but rather getting the almighty dollar and cutting the throat of anyone who doesn't have some and it's willing to give it up. I tried to reason with the lady on the phone and I heard a lot of the same. If you don't believe me, try calling for yourself, speak to them, express any problems you might have and they will tell you the 10 reasons on why you're wrong and they're right. This company won't be around much longer if they continue like this. I don't care how good the services. FYI SPECTRUM HAS A PROMO GOING ON RIGHT NOW, $50 A MONTH FOR 2 YEARS.

    I noticed them burying the fiber at the end of our road. So I spoke to the guys burying it and they said to call and schedule. I did and I was told to call back when our build was closer to completion. Website shows its available for my new address, so I placed the order. I followed up because I had not heard anything. Today they tell me now it could be months its not available? Thats why I called back in May! We also tried to get it in our apartment in May/June and never received a response back. Our lanlord ran into the same problem! Horribly ran company!! If I could give zero stars I would.

    I knew right away when Gateway came to the neighborhood, that I would sign up with them as soon as I could… As I had had nothing but troubles for years and years with the cable company! Not only was it next to impossible to reach a live human being at the other guys… They were usually in some foreign country and could barely speak English… And rarely did they ever say the same thing that the technician would say when they came out to fix the problem! Gateway has been an absolute breath of fresh air compared to what we have dealt with previously. Just to give you an example, this week the gateway system has been intermittent and having issues, but due to a third-party software problem that was not gateway‘s fault. Even though this was not gateways doing, the president and CEO of the company sent out a link to everyone that was affected… Explaining what had happened, and that as a gesture to show how important their customers are to Gateway, they are applying a credit to everyone’s account at over 20% of that months bill! Now I can tell you, that has never ever happened with the cable company… And the only way to get any kind of a credit from the cable company, was to call, fight through their automated AI system, and eventually get to a human being that barely speaks English and argue with them about getting a credit app applied to your account. All I can say is… Way to go Gateway!!! Thank you, Chris!!!

    Unreal. Never had internet go down like this. I've lost yet another entire day of work because of their inability to keep thier service up. Good service when it works but when they're down it's down for a ridiculous amount of time. I'm on the verge of going back to spark light at least they can keep their service up.
