Best ISP I've ever used as a remote tech worker. Fast and stable speeds, minimal outages, great customer support, easy billing at good prices. Never going back to Charter/AT&T/Spectrum.

If you are looking for reliability, steer clear of this fiber internet! If you rely on internet for camera and security systems gateway fiber, formerly kwikom in my area, will let you down consistently. Constant outages for hours at a time. The company was sold to gateway fiber with weeks of me starting service. During one 12 hour outage (probably the 4th one in 3 weeks)I called customer service to see if it was just me or my equipment. Their technical support could not even look up my service address as they could only service MO locations and had no access to systems in Kansas. Within 6 months advertised prices of kwikom went from $45/month to $90 with gateway fiber for 1Gbps. The underground contractors that were hired also destroyed countless front yards, water mains, and sewer lines during installation of the network and pull boxes are unsecured and floating out of the ground in many locations. Some boxes are even missing covers which has resulted in injuring my dog and I while out on a walk. I rely on this service to keep an eye on my epileptic dog while I am away from home, and it's looking like I may have to switch back to cable sooner than later.

Poor internet speed, Starlink is better and more consistent connection. It’s funny I can get a signal out of outerspace better than I can get one out of a piece of fiber in my yard. Update: after 6 service calls and equipment being replaced 3 times, still unreliable connection and very poor speeds. You will get about 10 to 20% of their advertised speed. So if you order the one gig plan, you’re probably gonna be around that 100 to 150 MB.

Internet has been down for 48+ hours now I’ve called support 4 times and they just tell me to restart my router and when that doesn’t work I’m told “a higher level tech will reach out to me in the next business day” so pretty much just got told I won’t have internet for 4 days because they tried an update late on a Thursday and didn’t fix it before the weekend. I’m not paying for this month and will be switching providers this is terrible. No ETAs no actual support just unplug the router and when that doesn’t work they’re stumped.
