  I If I could give zero stars I would. Internet service is AWFUL and slow. They were trying to charge me $180 for the lowest speed available. When I went to the office to drop off equipment, I had a $10 balance. I asked if I could pay it and they told me I could not pay it in Office. What kind of sense does that make? You can’t pay your bill in Office.? You would think they would want to get their money if you were closing out your account. Customer service rep told meI had to pay it online. That’s stupid. Anyway, I went to pay it online and my User ID and password would no longer work. They closed my account. Why would they close my account if I have a balance to pay is beyond my understanding. So how was I supposed to pay the bill at that point? Cox had the nerve to send my $10 bill to collections. Absolutely ridiculous. I was more than willing to pay my balance and tried to do so through 2 different avenues. Funny thing is they probably had to pay the collection company more money than my $10.43 balance to collect it and that’s what they get. Horrible customer service. I canceled my service and went with LUS fiber instead. Much more reasonable pricing AND I was able to get a faster, Internet speed than I had and still pay $100 less than what Cox was trying to charge me. If you want Internet service less than $100 sign up with LUS if it’s available in your area.

  It took over half an hour to turn in equipment. Only 3 customers in the store, 2 employees both helping one person. Very slow.
