Vyve Broadband is the worst ISP in town and easily one of the worst I’ve dealt with in the Midwest.
Their network is fundamentally mismanaged. Baseline latency, upstream/downstream performance, and CMTS/local node optimization are consistently out of spec. These aren’t edge-case issues — they are persistent, measurable network problems that a competent ISP would identify, document, and correct.
Support has been a nightmare across multiple accounts. Front-line agents, supervisors, dispatched technicians, and even their NOC (Network Operations Center) repeatedly refuse to properly document issues or file the necessary escalation tickets. Instead, customers are met with delays, deflection, and outright gaslighting — even when presented with months of logs and proof showing ongoing network instability.
I gave Vyve a second chance and approached everything professionally, following the correct channels and escalation paths. The result was the same: no accountability, no resolution, and no ownership of their own infrastructure problems.
If you’re in Atchison, Kansas, avoid Vyve Broadband. Reliability is poor, support is ineffective, and the company shows no interest in maintaining its network to acceptable standards. An ISP’s job is to ensure their network operates within proper parameters — Vyve consistently fails at that basic responsibility. i will be filing several fcc/puc reports
