Been with sky for for broadband just over a year. In that year for at least 4 months I've only had speeds of upto 40mb, while paying for 500mb. Not one person at sky noticed until I started testing my equipment at home through the app, and even then only spoke to me about it when I first called. 2 engineer visits and a new router later and still no solution Finally cancelled a week ago and my end date was today (06/01/2025) they switched off my broadband at 0002. Cut me off straight away and had no problems taking my money but can't fix what they should be providing. Thank god ive been able to get out of my contract with no charges.

I called in to your Sky store at Battersea Power Station on 28 June 2024 as I had a problem with my i-phone (I have a contract with you). Having explained the problem to Bart and Arek they quickly sorted out what was wrong and cheerfully fixed it. I am very grateful to both Gents. Thank you Sky!

I have been with Sky for many years, with several mobile numbers and a broadband account. I interacted with many Sky representatives over the years, usually finding great people to talk to, willing to help and to find the best deals for my needs, until today. But let’s start from the beginning: I went to the Sky branch at the Battersea Power Station a couple of weeks ago, where a nice guy (I think his name is Ahmed but I am not sure, I remember he is half Neapolitan half Moroccan) was offering me many discounts and offers that were really good for a new broadband contract I needed to subscribe with TV and Sports for another property at a different address. However, I was not sure when I would get access to this new property, so I said I would go back. Today, I went back there, taking time off work, where I found two staff members sitting at the main desk at the entrance, with no other public members. It was just me and them two. After the ritual greetings, I started talking with the closest person, who, in a matter of seconds, would reveal herself as a very rude salesperson called Jelena, without even investigating my needs or trying to ascertain if what I needed was correct or not —asking routine questions as a regular customer service/sales person would do—. After my request, she initially replied, “It would be very confusing to manage a second broadband account”. When I said it would not be a problem (I work in tech and believe I can manage such a “burden”), she said, “It will be difficult to manage two accounts”. When I said I had no problems with it being difficult, she changed her tone and said I could not have another broadband package on my account because “it cannot be done”. In total dismay at such claim, I challenged it on the basis of what she said just a minute earlier, and she adamantly insisted that I needed “to set-up a brand new account with a different email”. I explained that I would lose my status and all the offers and discounts that come with it, and she was like “you cannot have two broadband contracts on the same account”. I explained I was offered the same thing earlier on and asked how a person with multiplle properties should do that then, and received no answer from a stern-faced Jelena. Probably did’t expect me having already collected information before? I then mentioned this will force me to go to another provider, to try to trigger her willingness in helping out, and she, shrugging her shoulders, replied “it is what it is”. I was appalled by such interaction and attitude. So I thanked her and left the branch, because also her colleague in the meantime disappeared from the scene after her initial replies. Probably embarrassed by such attitude? Who knows. I would have certainly asked him to confirm such statements, and I can understand why he didn’t want to step into such closed-up one-way dismissive conversation. Then, luckily I didn’t trust her, as her attitude really stunk, and called the Sky customer service straightaway once outside the branch, where a lovely lady called Katie managed to do what Ahmed (?) in first place was offering me, at even better prices!! I now got two broadband contracts for two different properties on my account at incredible prices, exactly as I have a few mobile numbers attached to it. And Jelena said could not be done. I am leaving this feedback only to point out that a retail salesperson should have a more “can do” attitude, especially when the shop opened only 30 minutes before and it is empty. Jelena was completely lazy, uncaring, unprofessional and providing untrustworthy service. She did not engage in any “seek to understand” process, not even asked me a single question on what I needed, while just started shooting sentences with no much room for a conversation or a positive outcome. It felt like she did not want to sell me anything from the get-go. She would be better off going back to training, as I am pretty confident what she provided is not up to Sky Customer Service standards, which are usually excellent.
