I was there today around 6:30–7:30 PM at Sky to arrange a home WiFi contract. Although I knew exactly which offer I wanted and stated this from the beginning, a male employee at Sky, near the Samsung store, kept insisting on giving me a Netflix device for one month free, even though I repeatedly told him I didn’t want or need it.
As a result, I left disappointed by how misleading some companies can be through such employees. Change your tactics if you want people to trust you, and maybe consider changing such employees as well.
Beware of scammers. I wanted to cancel with BT, but even here the staff is disappointing. The manager should take action to remove such employees, because either they persist against customers’ wishes or possibly even support such tactics. As proof, I recorded the conversation.

The worst network SIM provider I’ve ever experienced. I never get good signal, no matter whether I’m at home or outside — not even in central London where I work. On the other hand, the staff are absolutely rubbish; they don’t care at all about their customers.
In my case, I feel like I was kind of scammed by one of them whose name is Shahidul at the Westfield Stratford branch. He didn’t tell me that I would fall into a contract trap with the SIM. Now I’ve been paying £15.50 for the last 7 months while I don’t use it at all.
I was buying an Apple Watch months ago when he approached me and pushed me to buy a SIM which was completely unnecessary. He didn’t even explain that it would automatically go into a contract after 31 days. The worst thing is that when I went back to speak with him, he refused to talk to me, and their customer service is poor as well. They don’t provide any proper solution.
Overall, it’s incredibly bad — both the network service and the customer service are among the worst I’ve experienced.

Where do I begin…
Today my sister visited the store at 10am on the dot (the store's opening time). She saw two ladies both sitting already giving unbothered and their mannerisms giving they don't want to be at work. My sister spoke to one of them, clearly explaining her frustration about her new phone from the Apple Store, which is directly across from the Sky store, explaining that an eSIM has been put into her phone when there is already a physical SIM in the phone. The lady then responded, “Why did you go to Apple when you should have come to us, as there’s a code on the eSIM” and then proceeded to say that because she went to the Apple Store, she would no longer be able to make calls or texts because of said “code” in a very condescending tone. She did not provide any additional help.
Mind you, my sister had work that day, so jumping between the Apple Store and the Sky store was exhausting and unnecessary as her own manager in her workplace fixed the problem more than Sky. All they needed to do was activate the sim then she was able to make calls.
When we got on the phone to customer service, they said they could not send out a sim for my sister until my mum had paid her normal bill (mind you, there were NO arrears) - again, this does not make sense as those are separate matters anyways. How can you stop someone from getting a sim for their phone by enforcing a payment of a bill not due yet.
Nevertheless, trust Sky to take my mum's money in 0.2 seconds but to get a sim could take a week.
My mum has been with Sky for 20 years, and ever since COVID there has been problem after problem, to the point where she consistently has to report issues to senior management. Despite being a Platinum member (which means nothing and has no value), there is still no support whatsoever. They just continue to charge absurd amounts of money and their service does not improve but rather rapidly declines.
We have to reconnect our tv after every use, and our WiFi & phones are cut for no exact reason frequently - only to then be sent the irritable message: Sky is having issues we apologise for any inconvenience.
It's all too much. Sky are too money-hungry: they are not for the people, they just want to exploit you. They can take your payment in 0.2 seconds, but can never fulfil a service.
Do not join with them. We will be leaving.
