They scheduled a home service visit but it was 4 days out. I went into the main office and a woman helped me right away. I apologize I did not get her name, but she looked at my account and instantly offered me a way better deal. She doubled my speed and cut my monthly price in half. She also replaced my bad router and gave me new equipment. She was very helpful and kind. Just wanted to say thank you.

Downtown Statesboro is a mess with cables running all over the ground from the pole to the houses. Once more competitors enter the space they’ll be bankrupt FAST.

Upgrading your plan does nothing for your Internet speed. You’d be better spending your money anywhere else possibly even just using hotspot.

After five days trying to revive Vyve at my house--yeah, five days--I ended up going down to the Verizon store and getting just one box that packs some crazy speeds, and so far, reliable service. It started on Friday morning around 7:30. That dreaded little world grid icon popped up on my computer showing no internet service. I spent the next 2.5 hours resetting the modem and the two eero boxes three times. The third attempt was done via a human customer service rep. (It should be noted that Vyve customer service reps are very nice. They don't know much other than what's on their little prompt cards, but they are nice.) Things got running the rest of Friday. Again, no service on Saturday morning. Called Vyve. Spent another half-hour booting back up. It seemed to fix it, but for good measure, she ordered a technician to come to my house on Monday to check my equipment, because, as she noted, that's not normal to keep losing internet. Sunday there were no problems, and then Monday morning no internet. The tech came and switched out the modem as scheduled. Something about my service is 600 but the modem is only for 300. Which made no sense whatsoever since the same modem and the same service have been running in my house for the last four months without any problems. I was just happy to get internet back up and running. About 15 minutes after the tech left, the modem lights were all running, but those eero boxes were not. I called Vyve again. And this is when it felt like the Twilight Zone. Something about a routine maintenance on local equipment that serves the neighborhood was going to take place at some unknown time in the near future and we'll see IF that fixes it. No matter how many ways I asked: but what are you going to do about the problem inside my house right now, I could not get them to send another tech with new eero devices. On day five, I decided to dump Vyve and I went down to the Verizon store and got the same service for a few dollars less than the Vyve cost, and I only had to plug in the modem. I'm giving Vyve a 2-star rating rather than a 1-star because the customer service ladies were really nice, and when the service was running, it was reliable. I just wasn't going to stick around for another 5-day fiasco.
