    Today I went to the Verizon store to transfer my number over to my new phone. A very simple task not out of range of a Verizon technician. I walked in and immediately was bombarded with disrespect from a man named Earl. He was aggressive insisting I was wrong to even ask such a question. When he finally realized he was wrong he never spoke an apology. He then sat down to be helpful and reprimanded me and my sister on how we should have clarified more. He spoke to me and my sister like we were teenagers when we are both clearly in our twenty’s. He processed to talk AT me. Like I was his daughter who even dared be disrespectful. Although he then proceeded to fix the problem I wish to never be his customer again. I hope Earl learns respect is a two way street. I will be calling the manager to further file this complaint.

    Had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had from Verizon. The manager Mike didn’t want to deal with my exchange of a faulty brand new phone on a Tuesday evening and asked me to come back the next morning. He claimed his employees had a family emergency and he was dealing with a fraud case and it would be easier for HIM if I came back the next day. The next morning was a complete disaster He nor his associate knew the features of my phone and locked themselves out of my phone for an hour, and then told me it wasn’t their fault I had the anti theft feature enabled. After I waited the hour for the phone to unlock, they then trapped me in the store for 4 hours because they couldn’t figure out my data transfer. Mike kept claiming that the store (which also sells WIFI) services has faulty WIFI and that was the problem. Then he claimed it was my fault for having too much data on my phone!! He even flat out lied and told me Verizon had been hacked and that was the problem. Then he tried to claim it was an Apple update problem.Unfortunately I had already taken the phone to Apple prior to my visit to this Verizon store and I already knew it wasn’t an Apple update problem. Because of the Mike, the MANAGER’s lack of knowledge of the products they sell and his inability to manage the scheduling of appropriate staff, and his abundance of excuses that ranged from untrue to ridiculous during my experience, I lost an entire day of work. This store cost me money and had no remorse or care. I was treated as if I was a problem and as if the faulty phone I was sold by this company was my fault. Consumers beware, this store lacks expertise you expect when going to a company’s official store, and the manager fosters an environment where your time is not considered valuable, and excuses and falsehoods are handed out freely.

    Would never buy from this store. Very HIGH PRESSURE sales! More interested in selling a new phone than helping with an used phone. I left Verizon after being a customer for 25 years and went to T-mobile
