I spent over a week dealing with multiple customer service reps over chat and phone, being promised call-backs, updates, and resolutions that never came. Every time, I was told one thing, and then nothing happened. For a company that prides itself on keeping people connected, the complete lack of communication was beyond frustrating. But then I met Stanley. From the moment my husband and I walked into our local Verizon store, Stanley greeted us warmly and immediately started helping us. Within an hour, he did what five other agents couldn’t accomplish in ten days. He solved everything quickly, efficiently, and most importantly, he actually followed through. I told Stanley I wasn’t looking for compensation for my awful experience, but he still went out of his way to check with his manager to see what he could do to make things right. That meant a lot to me because it was the first time in this whole process that I truly felt heard. Stanley was incredibly personable and never made me feel like a burden. He chatted with us like we were old friends while setting up my new phone and answering every question we had. He genuinely cared about helping us and making sure our upgrade didn’t skyrocket our bill. He took the time to go over different phone options and somehow got us a deal where we’re paying less for two brand new phones than we were for our older ones. Stanley is the definition of outstanding customer service! He’s knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and truly an asset to Verizon. After such a horrible experience online, walking into the store and being helped by him felt like a breath of fresh air. Thank you, Stanley. You singlehandedly restored my faith in Verizon!
