    Cox Communications is an absolutely horrible company to get any sort of service through. Terrible staff training. Terrible customer service. There are other communications providers in the Santa Barbara area, any of them are a better choice than Cox. Save yourself the hassle and frustration of dealing with a company that does not care about you whatsoever and choose a different communications provider.

    GREAT SERVICE! I went in to switch out of TMOBILE 5G Home internet. The internet service was unreliable at best. Cox asked if I wanted to add a free line and I said No! I did not appreciate extra add-ons and fees! JUST INTERNET! Once my internet plan was set, I calmed down and listened to their offers. The calmly told me the details and I was sold. Cox is part of the Verizon network and provided me with UNLIMITED cell service for only $2 a month for a year! Plus I'm getting 300 Mbps and can cancel any time- $55 a month. The customer support was great. Store had close to 10 employees on a Saturday willing to be helpful. I was attended by Erick, Juan, and a bunch of other people just willing to be useful. I am sorry i went in with a bad attitude- thanks to reading too many negative reviews.. Only to be received by friendly staff.

    Avoid Cox if you are able to. Attempting to cancel service is quite cumbersome. They require you to chat with an offshore agent or stay on hold for at least an hour. They took 2-3 minutes to reply to every response I gave, forced me to review multiple options other than canceling, and also tried, hilariously, to convince me that I was not the account owner. Clearly, they're trying to make it impractical or impossible to stop paying them (they figure, correctly, that at some point I'll have to do something else, and need to start the process all over again - or probably just forget for a year). A pretty lame tactic and probably a pretty lame company that would try this. There are other internet providers in Santa Barbara who charge half the price and have twice the speed.

    This company has always been a disappointment, but reached new lows. They quietly disabled their Homelife security services without informing customers and continued to bill for months, perhaps years with their clients having no actual security services in place and no means to maintain or repair their systems. Their business practices are simply dishonest.

    Okay so before I even begin, I know you all have to deal with customers everyday(I get it). However when I was trying to understand what they were saying on the phone it let to a charge instead of helping me figure out why the wifi was not working. Sorry Cox Cable that you guys put up with people's issues everyday but you do not need to charge extra for the wifi issue. And don't ever say your sorry in other comments that right there shows how much you do not care about people. And also please do not send a link because why bother. I mean Custer service is not that helpful.
