Do not under any circumstances get your Wi-Fi with this service they tried to charge me and bring my bill to nearly $200 without telling me!! No call, no email, nothing instead they said oh last month‘s bill had a little cliff note that let you know we were gonna apply more charges… I don’t know about you guys, but that’s not how I do business that isn’t a true providing company. Who would do for their members? They would only pull this if they didn’t care and they knew they could get away with the scam. Well, I will not let this stand. I was on the phone with Cox customer service. And as soon as I asked to talk to a manager, I was put on hold for 15 minutes where I was met with the hang up tone. They hung up on me rather than talk to me so then I go to the store and I explained my situation where they say oh well you’re supposed to read the little cliff note in your bill and they couldn’t even tell me if them themselves read all their bills instead, they were rude cold and not helpful at all. Instead, they said my account would still be charged and they canceled my account on the spot. This is the worst service ever on top of trying to charge me. The Wi-Fi I had was complete garbage but not only did he cancel my account, He gave me no further instruction what to do with my box or anything at the store. This is the store in Hillcrest. The worker didn’t even get up at the door when me, a customer walked in, obviously upset he didn’t try to fix anything. He was quick to shun me away. This employee should be fired. This company should be shut down. Do not go here Who pays $200 for Wi-Fi., not I.

Straight up; something needs to be done about the ability of a granted monopoly to be able to add hidden fees/charge for services and contracts not properly maintained or adhered to. Cox claims a debt of over $3,000 from over 3 years ago. I'm store can't provide any proof of debt. Instead, more than 10 minutes to receive an account number and ZERO proof of debt. No bills, no signed contract, no.dates of service??? And of course cox only sends people here who are cancelling or having issues so the workers are all on edge looking for a fight. For instance maintaining eye contact (only during direct conversation) I was accused of staring down. Lol approx 6'4" 250 lb light eye light skin male Cox EE, or the antagonistic looks they give each other create a toxic environment. Bruh, you should be embarrassed as a company for any of these actions let alone the 2 or 3 events I saw simultaneously together. Oh and BTW someone explain to me how a 65ish looking old man goes through a Gig of internet when he claims he doesn't use it. Just charging old people $15 tisk tisk.

I stopped by the store and the manager was rude and with a very bad tone. I came here as the technician came to my home and touch stuff even tho I asked him not to. He also connected to my modem. Speaks lots of the San Diego environment as the technician over the phone was great ... Seems very toxic environment. The manager Sam should be in rehab for anger management as words are just words to me. Lol
