    This review is about Cox WiFi service overall, not this specific store. In seven months as a customer, I’ve had unreliable connection, two incorrect charges, and inconsistent customer service. Online chat is unhelpful, and issues were only resolved after multiple phone calls. I became a customer only because my apartment (92108) partnered with them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the service.

    I returned my Cox modem/router combo so they wouldn't charge me an additional $15.00 monthly. I bought my own instead. A one time fee that will pay for itself in 6 months. I find their practice of pushing equipment on customers is predatory. Especially for seniors. I cut cable in 2017, and now use Philo if I want a cable-like viewing experience. I save a ton each month doing so. I use a Onn Google Tv device, a Roku, Firecube & Firestick on various TVs. You really only need one device, I just have several TVs so I use various devices. Just plug in a streaming device with an hdmi cord, type in your internet name and password and you are done. Plug in the streaming device and go. (Roku, Onn Google TV, AppleTV, Firecube, Firestick ect.) I set up service for my elderly mother this same way. All you need is internet service. Their lowest plan is good enough for her viewing. For seniors Roku is the easiest, Philo has a nice guide. Cutting cable is the best thing I have done. Before I did, I tried to ask Cox for a lower price than the 220.00 they wanted to charge me monthly. The Philo App is $25.00 and basic internet is around $30-50. A Cox' retention agent said they could not lower my bill, because unbundling would make the monthly price go up higher. They need to change with the times, and offer a streaming device or app. The return experience was fast and easy. Im leaving stars because in spite of their predatory practices, their internet service is dependable. Its the only company serving my neighborhood.

    Crappy service. Trying to cancel is a nightmare. They don’t care, they just want to sell you on a higher plan. Stay away.

    Don’t use this provider. Had horrible connection issues after I moved to another house and I kept running into A.I. via phone calls and chat. No help. Finally cancelled and was hit with a bill weeks later. I hadn’t used my router in months prior to cancellation. If you want a headache, choose Cox!
