Crappy service. Trying to cancel is a nightmare. They don’t care, they just want to sell you on a higher plan. Stay away.

Been trying to get Cox internet for 3 weeks at a house that has a cable modem and coax cable in the house. Cox stayed the house is blocked from previous tenants and refuses to grant internet service. I have no choice but to move out of my house. Unbelievable. The ppl working at this location are very professional but the company is Nothing but a bunch of liars.

I moved to a new address where Cox could not provide service. Their own representatives confirmed the location was non-serviceable, yet Cox still attempted to charge me a $40 early termination fee.
This was not a voluntary cancellation. Cox was unable to fulfill the service contract, which constitutes a breach of contract, and charging a cancellation fee under these circumstances is improper.
To make matters worse, Cox shared my personal information with a third-party collection agency over a charge that should never have existed — especially over just $40.
Due to Cox’s refusal to resolve this issue, I have filed a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission. I strongly recommend caution to anyone considering this provider.

Don’t use this provider. Had horrible connection issues after I moved to another house and I kept running into A.I. via phone calls and chat. No help. Finally cancelled and was hit with a bill weeks later. I hadn’t used my router in months prior to cancellation. If you want a headache, choose Cox!

They wanted me to wait for the long line of customers to return my equipment and they are puzzled as to why I canceled my internet service with them. So glad to switch over to a cheaper and better provider
