  My experience with Astound has been great. I opted for their cable and gig internet. The pricing is reasonable and locked in for life. The installation went smoothly and they waived the installation fee. I did have to pay a $14.99 account setup fee which I thought was very reasonable. I will recommend them to my family and friends for sure!

  Terrible customer service!!! If I could give a 0 I would. My mom called to have her landline removed last week they removed her cable. Then when I call to tell them it was not supposed to happen that way I would like her cable restored along with her customer loyalty they claim they did but they put basic service back on when she had basic and preferred they argued with me that she did not but basic service does not give you ESPN channels neither does it give you LMN or GSN all of which we had. We were literally watching Jeopardy and the TV went off. The customer service rep or the supervisor tells me that she never had Premier Services when clearly I know that she did because we sit and watch them together daily for the past couple years. Then she says well when she removed the landline that removed all of her promotions. I said well they didn't advise her of that. She said well there's nothing we can do. Awful my mother's been with Wave and then this provider for at least 8 years. I don't trust this place anymore I went on the portal and it shows no services that you literally have. Why not? Shouldn't the consumer know what they have when they log into their account.

  The installation went without issues. The installer did a great job. So far the service appears reliable. Minor issues; the $50/mo 1000 Mbs plan for 3 years is an excellent value, however, the additional $14.99/mo wasn't clearly disclosed. Another issue will be the potential sticker shock regarding a price increase (unknown $) at the end the 3 year promotion period. Although I scanned the Astound site, I could not find the current non-promotional price. I believe this is deliberate.

  There's no direct phone number for location. Only a 800 number . There communication through out there company sucks. I dealt with them for a hour. Told get a call back next day. By a supervisor. No call back. Call again get told no information. That id be getting a call back within 2 hours from a supervisor. Nope so I call back 3 n a half hours later. Next call person says no record of me calling. Decided its smart to try to talk really fast over me. I asked multiple times for a supervisor. Im not even a customer. All I did was call to ask what they are doing since they left me a tag that had no information whats so ever. I WILL NEVER HAVE THEM FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. THEY WERE BAD WHEN THEY WERE CALLED WAVE.
