  Had a horrible experience. I signed up for Cox internet and was supposed to get unlimited Data and their fast internet. Once I got to the store to pick up my panoramic Modem. The salesman came up to me and told me that the internet I have signed up for was for the slowest plan and the modem that was promised was not part of that plan. He said the sales department had given me the wrong information and if I wanted to get the plan that I was promised, the price would jump up to $185 per month. He kept trying to up sale me. I called their corporate and was on the phone for around 45 minutes and they also switched their price. Long story short, I returned it and got T Mobil for $55 per month and am super happy. I will not get cox ever again. Stay away from them!! They straight up told me that since they don’t have competition in Laguna Niguel their price is different and is much higher than areas that have more competition. They are price gauging the consumers.

  Terrible company to support. Used them for 7 years, missed 1 payment as there was fraud on a card and auto pay was missed. They immediately shut down my service and said I owed about 3x of my monthly rate. Decided to stop using and tried to dispute charges. Had to wait for over 45 min to get a hold of someone who can barely speak English, and they agreed I was right and would refund charges, which totaled 1.5 hours of my time. Then a month later I relieved collections notices with interest owed even after I paid the month that I missed. Do yourself a favor and go with T mobile or someone else
