Had century link for years, $77 a month for unlimited with zero issues. I’ve had cox for 5 months, I told them about all my devices and usage and they recommended a plan. I’ve almost reached the limit every month and the past two months I nearly doubled my usage and I’m using 1/2 my devices. They charged me $170 for data in sep/oct. Cancelling my service. They ripped me people off.

If you wanna pay close to $200 for 2000mb to only get 150mb and outages that happen very frequently with zero support and consideration to you then this is the best option for you.

Daily outages proven to be a problem with the neighborhood junction/node with 4 homes connected to it. Cox tech claims it can't be fixed. Avoid and go fiber once available

200 dollars a month for gigabit internet, on copper cable. Insane ripoff, insanely insulting company. Has raised our bill bit by bit over the months Just Because, meanwhile the rest of the city and the rest of the country has access to gigabit internet on fiber cable at 50 dollars a month. No one should pay over a hundred dollars for even some of the nicer/large bandwidth plans out there. Predatory prices, spotty uptime despite copper cable and lan connected devices. No one should Have to be on wireless internet, 5G, or satellite internet when we live in a city with a decent sized population. These companies are ripping us off wholesale and they know it.
If you're considering Cox, look into local companies laying fiber in our area like Quantum Fiber or T-Mobile or Metronet or Airebeam or Centurylink or Wecom Fiber or Google.
You can check the full scope of what all internet plans are offered to your house using a website ran by the official government FCC, google "FCC Broadband Map"
Try and help me in encouraging and organizing more fiber companies to bring more affordable, and great internet to Casa Grande. Show them we have paying customers here who are desperate for competition. Add your house location and contact info to their contacts for being interested in fiber internet. I talked to Quantum Fiber over the phone and they were Very kind in telling me even what competing companies offered to my house location. Some neighborhoods and locations have fiber in Casa Grande, but not all. To a degree this should be a government led effort connecting more people with quality internet.
Cox's own supplied hardware, their router and modems are *terrible*, do not let them charge you more for the price of including terrible hardware into their plans, affordable and sane routers and modems are out there, and I am talking spending a 40 dollar cost for a one time purchase. You should own your devices and be able to control what they do freely. You should not have to eternally rent bad hardware that doesn't do a great job in the modern year.
