Geat fun to experience. Good values on some others crazy overpriced. Good activities for family. Keep littles on leashes or finding them may be an adventure of swimming in the fish ponds. Lol.

Amazing place to find apparel and hunting, fishing, & camping supplies... But you all know that. Go there for the people. The people that are there working seem to really care and are very kind. Yes the whitetail exhibit is awesome, but the skunk needs a sign. The woodchuck and the badger both have one. Take the time to check out the aquarium... Check out all the displays and exhibits and collections. There are plenty of exhibits to excite the most boring if people. The place is big enough to spend most of a day. What? You don't fish or camp, so there's nothing there for you? You've made a mistake. They have everything. If you live within ten miles of a tree, they got something for you.

I don’t normally write reviews but this experience being so bad, I felt inclined. I normally do not have a Bass Pro local to me, but I travel for work. This one being quite close to where I’m working, I decided to stop in. I was interested in buying a handgun but one that was not in stock. I informed them of what I was looking for and that I was an out of state resident. They assured me I could order it online for pickup to the store and that it could be transferred to a local licensed firearm dealer in PA they frequently do business with that’s rather close to where I live where I could complete backgrounds and pickup. “THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME.” So I put in the order few days later, mind you opening a line of credit with the store for the discount being offered. After a day or so, Orders been canceled. I stop into the store and explain it was canceled because of the mismatched states between where it’s ordered and where I live. Manager Ty/Tyler seemed rather confused but inclined to help, took down notes of what I was ordering, my personal info, order numbers, etc. Told me he would return a call to me a day later when some other managers were in and he could explain to them and come to conclusion on how to avoid the order being canceled again. No call back. I call later that night of the next day, and get an update from another team member. I’m instructed to call catalog and push the order through them and all should be good. I call catalog and they are unable to assist and direct me to asset team/fraud prevention stating very confidently that they’re the team who manages these types of orders and would be able to complete it without issue. So I call this morning, and talk to Heather. (The reason I decided to write this review) Heather was so rude and interruptive, immediately stating that this couldn’t be done and that the store should’ve never said it could, which whatever. But she was so rude and came across as OFFENDED that this would ever be suggested as possible, by me or the store. She was interruptive, dismissive, and obviously had better things to be doing than take my call. So I call the store to talk to Ty/Tyler again, who was in but had no recollection or memory whatsoever of our conversation 5days or so prior to today. Which not getting the call back I was supposed to, or having any memory of such, leads me to believe it was never addressed or worked on whatsoever. If this couldn’t order be done or completed this way, okay. No big deal. But being bounced from department to department, working on this for days trying to call everyone I was instructed to, nobody being able to provide clear instructions on how to go about this (although they do it ALL THE TIME) and then at the end of it to deal with a very rude and dismissive representative.. just a very frustrating experience. ALL IN ALL, Very disappointed with the entire experience and now left with a line of credit for a store I’ll likely never visit again. Writing this in hopes someone will address Heathers attitude and update the store as to what can/can’t be done in these types of situations. Happy to shop elsewhere from here on out.

Great selection, however, you’re harassed at every corner. This is essentially the carnival world of outdoor stores. As soon as you walk in, you’re bombarded about getting a Mastercard. Each department has its own carny waiting to ask if you need help. Like no, I don’t need help — I’m just browsing, like I told the last 22 people. While trying on a hat, a member of “Sales Team 6” rappelled from the ceiling to ask if I needed help finding anything. After I said, “No, just browsing” for the 67th time, she tugged the rope three times and was sucked back up into a Blackhawk. Don’t even get me started on the vacation sales guy who uses high-pressure tactics to get you to buy a timeshare with hunting in Thailand. By the time you make it to the firearms section, you’re ready for a taste test — but apparently, that’s where they draw the line.
