Tranquil Timbers, a Door County RV resort and campground, is adjacent to Potawatomi State Park, which has beautiful hiking and biking trails and a boat launch.
The Tranquil Timber campgrounds are located in Door County, which has more than 250 miles of big water shoreline and year-round fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, giant northern pike, brooke and rainbow trout. Aptly named, Tranquil Timbers and its RV resort property lie between the sparkling waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan among quiet forests and wooded paths. Being just minutes away from the best boating and water skiing in the state, this beautiful slice of Wisconsin offers something for everyone.

- JSJason SchulteJan 13, 20265.0We stayed here in our travel trailer and the site was easy to back into. Had a large gravel pad, a large site, and a large fire pit. The entrance is gated and you need a security code to get in. There are a lot of seasonal and permanent sites so the weekenders are out numbered by a lot. Our site was full hook up and everything with that was great. The pool was good for the kids, They also have horseshoes, pickle ball, playground, a shelter, a mini golf course, soccer field, and a camp store. The mini golf at this time you would have to bring your own club and balls as the rentals are not happening due to covid. I suspect this also impacts horseshoes and other rec items so be sure to bring your own. The camp store does require a mast. Overall it was a great weekend and we got a lot of needed down time in the outdoors.
