  Updated Jan '26: Updated rating to 4 stars. Why? After my 1 star review Brendan (the franchise owner) reached out to make things right and after some back and forth he did make them right. The whole thing can be chalked up to a miscommunication when the instructor I used left Golftec. Brendan was able to transfer all of the remaining lessons I have to another location. Very cool of him. I'm leaving one star off and this is for all Golftec locations: Communication needs to be a little better when an instructor leaves. Every GolfTec should proactively reach out to the students of that instructor to let them know. Other than that I'm happy things worked out. __________________________ Original Review: What started out as a good experience ended up as nothing but a cash grab from Golftec. Eric was my instructor/sales guy. I bought a package of 25 lessons for $1800+ in '24. They also added a $450 'practice pass' which basically gives you access to the hitting bays (note: it's NOT worth it). So I was all in for $2300. I'll never forget Eric telling me that the lesson package was good for a year and he/Golftec 'would be flexible' if I needed to push them out past that. I made it through approximately half of the lessons and took a break for the summer. I actually seemed to be getting better (at least according to me). But that's where the 'good experience' I mentioned stopped. In the fall I had a serious medical issue that kept me away for months. In early '25 the Golftec mail bot sent me a couple of reminders to schedule lessons again. This was all during a period where we were going through a move and golf wasn't at the top of the list for me. A few months later I reached out to Eric letting him know about my situation. Eric and Golftec ghosted me, plain and simple. I asked if I could still leverage the remaining lessons and if the lessons were transferable since we moved. No response. Called him. No response. And that was that as far as Eric and Golftec were concerned. Free money to them, right?

  I have been taking lessons from Todd at GOLFTEC Brookfield. The instruction has been great and my game has immensely improved. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to lower their golf scores.

  My coach Trevor at the Brookfield GolfTec location is outstanding. He is professional and has tailored my experience to match me as a person and a golfer. He is invested in my progress and has me bought into the stepwise approach to slowly transform my swing and reshape my fundamentals to help lower my handicap. I would highly recommend Trevor for anybody who is seriously interested in improving their golf game

  Golftec of Brookfield has become a 2nd home to me. I started back in March 2025, so 7 months now and just looking to improve some basics and after my 1st visit, I was hooked. I immediately became addicted to golf and have become what feels like a regular. My swing has improved along with just the overall understanding of the game. Between equipment and feel, im always learning something new weekly. As far as my coach Pete Smith, dude is the ultimate Rockstar. Between his personal approach and understanding his client, he knows how to dial in your game with terms that each player understands. On top of weekly lessons that are informative and eye opening, he's works outside the box with personal texts outside lessons for any problems or quick tips. Overall, my experience with Golftec has been nothing but spectacular. My goal is to become a scratch golfer, coming from 15 currently and Pete pushes me to beyond my limits to turn me into the player I want to become. Maybe one day become a part time coach. Thats my ultimate goal. Be good enough to play on tournaments along with providing others with the same lessons and techniques Ive learned.

  I tried group lessons for three summers. Marginal improvement. Got fitted for new clubs at GolfTec and inquired about lessons. I have to admit...they are not cheap. But remember that old saying "you get what you pay for?" So true! I've been taking lessons for almost a year now, and in the GolfTec app, I can see my original swing evaluation video, as well as each week's progress. The difference is staggering. And people in my golf league have noticed. If you are serious about improving your golf game, it won't happen with a couple of group lessons. At least it didn't for me. GolfTec lessons include indoor and outdoor range lessons, chipping and putting on a real green, and you can even play a round or two on a local course with your coach. Improvement doesn't happen overnight. Many thanks to my coach, Trevor, for his patience and creative teaching methods that ensure what he's trying to get across makes sense...in my brain. And it's working. Especially when others notice the improvement.
