When you go in, you'll enter a cool environment and you'll see all kinds of great stuff to take out and play in the outdoors with. I do not, however, recommend that you do any sort of online shopping with this company in any way, shape or form unless you live within 20 minutes of a store. I have found the overall experience with the website shopping to leave everything to be a desired. I have found the people on the phone to be less knowledgeable and frankly less customer service oriented than I've ever known them to be in previous years. I suppose everything goes corporate at some point and it was only a matter of time until it happened at REI. As far as I'm concerned I can shop on Amazon and buy stuff for less money and have an easier time taking care of any issues I have. Some of you might say that it's better to support REI than it is to support Amazon, but as far as I can tell, they're both just big business at this point so it really doesn't make any difference. Again, this is based on an online perspective and has nothing to do with the in-store experience.
