  $24 for a pair a sock, $30 for a neck gaiter! I used to LOVE REI but the price gouging is real and insane. Go to big 5/Feathered Friends for most of your needs. Better yet! Get your climbing gear in a different state/country. I bought Mountaineering shoes in Europe for $150.00 and they've lasted for years. I am genuinely surprised that these stores are still open. There are sooooo many cheaper offerings online and around town.

  The shoe guy was an egotistical pain. Men's selection of shirts was slim.

  Used their shop services all the time for my snowboard. I was having some issues with my bindings that I bought last year from REI and the shop person I was working with, Ken spent an hour trying remedy my supermatic bindings. Tried a few different methods, however the bindings could not be saved. Ken was kind enough to have the manager look over and provide me a refund to buy a different set of bindings which I did not expect!
