I've shopped several REI stores over the years. The employees at all of them have been consistently courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive. The gear is mostly high quality. The stores are always clean. My last visit was to the Spokane store, and once again, staff lived up to their reputation.

Don't honor coupons when left at home.
If you have other REI options don't bother with this one.

They have really good stuff here. I also like how you are a member for life. They carry top of the line products in outdoor gear. They have a good selection of backpacks and shoes skis bikes and accessories. These hokas were $200 alittle high and overpriced for what you get I wouldn't recommend they wear out to fast and hurt my feet. The backpack I would recommend you can fit a smaller lab top in it.
