I own 2 Trek bicycles. Just moved to the area and my first time in this store. Went in to ask about handlebars. The young salesman kept advising me to buy a new bicycle instead of getting a handle bar. Any question I asked kept getting back to me saving money by buying a new bicycle instead.

Great products and I didn’t meet a team member that was anything other than helpful and incite fuel to help me fix the problems with a used bike, and not a Trek. They offer up good products and solutions. Thanks especially to the 3 I worked with: Lewis, Mike and Adrian.

I had issues with removing a stuck thru-axle from my 2018 Salsa bike. They happily took a look at it and successfully removed the axle and gave me my bike back FOR FREE. Trek bike or not, they provide excellent service on just about every type of bike, even if the service required is quite small. I will be taking my bike back for any future repairs.

Looking at the reviews, I am curious about why my experience was so dissimilar to all the others. As a disclaimer this happened late June. The only reason I am writing this now, is that the conversation came back up and it made me realize how scummy it felt. I went in about asking about a fork rebuild on my old 2014 trek 6700. Not only did the worker that greeted me never answer that question, but instead tried to upsell me for 10 minutes and had no tact in his attempt. He chose to say even an entry level bike would be better than mine and that it would make more sense to purchase. While that may be true, I raced on that bike for 5 years and have had it since new. It is sentimental to me. I stated I had 0 need for a new bike, as I barely ride now as it is (maybe once a year, hoping to pick it back up) and he still tried to get me to look at new bikes. If we are talking Financials, I was walking in there looking to spend maybe $200 for the service on the forks, I did not need an $800+ bike especially as someone who barely rides as is. At the end I just said I would think about it and left. Ultimately, I will never go back to this shop because of this experience, which is a shame. Our team was sponsored by Trek and I have never taken that bike anywhere but a Trek shop until now. I ended up calling Butter suspension who offered to do the rebuild, and I know Infinity up in Poulsbo would do the job if I asked as well as they have worked on other bikes of mine. My mistake was thinking the people in this shop were diehard bike enthusiasts like the shops I visited before. Maybe the tech behind the desk is, but the person trying to sell me definitely is not. All it felt like to me was someone trying to take advantage of people who don't know better and getting them to spend way more than they need.
