- SSsamuelgomper1Aug 16, 20251.0I put in my request 8 months in advance. I had A lot of people coming and paid PER PERSON. I show up, to the smallest 3 sites possible, and the campground was EMPTY! When my large group moved even slightly out of our designated area (bikes on the Vacant neighbor's driveway) We were demanded to move them! Then we went to the pool, and there were 50+ people in the pool, okay we figured we would go to the lake again 50+ people. HOW ON EARTH could you be that empty and yet not have enough space in the only things you had going for you! DO NOT GO HERE (unless you just want to sit in your camper... cause they did have water and power on EVERY SITE)

There was lots of fun things for the kids to do, like a candy hunt in the field with flashlights, and rubber chickens hidden throughout the campground to find to get a free ice-cream. I was hoping for much better as this is the closest Thousand Trails to Calgary. Just need to get rid of the wasps and get some sewer hookups and I'd go more often.

Such a shame that one rude and spiteful employee (only one, all the rest are great) would ruin that. Doubtful this KOA will be on our future trips.
